What is infusion?

Infusion therapy is medication or other fluids which slowly flows "infuses" through a tube into a patient's vein. Infusion therapy may also be called "intravenous" or "IV" therapy.

Any person requiring short of long-term medication or nutritional therapy.

Where can infusion therapy be administered?

We go to your location. Patients receive treatment in familiar surroundings, among family and friends. Many return to work or school while receiving infusion therapy. Treatment is also available for private pay patients in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

This type of therapy allows the patient the freedom to resume a more normal lifestyle during their recovery.

When is home infusion an option?

When the patient's condition is stable, or your condition does not require you to be hospitalized for treatment. Each patient and condition are unique. Consult with your physician to see if home infusion therapy would be appropriate for you.
